#AbioyeSpeaks: BABA WAKEUP: IS SHE A BUILDER OR SPENDER? Pt1

Proverbs 14:1

"Every wise woman buildeth her house...."

Why not sit back, know the qualities before trekking the streets of Lagos in the name of "whosoever findeth"

What are the main qualities to look forward to in a woman?

We have to consider the issue of women or rather wives. On the contrary, I didn't have to move round Surulere to write this article. I just looked deep into the bible. You see that's the beautiful thing about the bible. It's so funny we have an encyclopedia of all life questions answered to detail, but we just toss it around and leave to a Sunday-Sunday affair whilst we listen to the opinion of men setting them as our standard.

She must be slim, curvy, have a British accent, natural hair, cook jollof well (lool!)...the list continues. I think this is the reason why so many ladies are seriously working out. But who would marry the fat ones?...that's a topic for another day.

You see, women differ and God designed them to be help mates. Therefore we could infer that God designed all women to be help mates...In short all to have a husband sort of. Therefore, there's surely more to a helper than the curves and jollof. This qualities are deep and to be cultivated.

Looking at this scripture, it gives us the wisdom of caution in choosing and also helps us (especially for those already courting) to know whether you are with the right lady.

If during dating/courtship, all she does is spend, spend, spend...from iPhone to BB classic to all sorts and she never for once talks about the future...Mehn rethink oooooo!

She never  encourages you to dream big, instead she makes huge withdrawals; emotionally and financially. Baba wakeup!!

You can easily infer two things concerning her attitude from today's scripture.
1) She is not wise
2) Obviously she's foolish

Let me add an unconscious third..Guy, the difference between you and an automated teller machine is slim..very slim..

Someone would say, this is so basic, everyone knows this...Alright, how come many are still victims?
Get my point, I am not saying the physical qualities are bad; in fact that fosters attraction. My point is simple:

"MARRY A BALANCED LADY"

The divorce rate is getting higher, together we can stop this by implementing simple steps starting from dating.

Someone would also say..how does a futuristic girlfriend (who spends reasonably) tie up with prudence?
The bible verse below answers your question

"The wise in heart shall be called prudent..."

She can't be wise and not be prudent. Simply put, the symbol of wisdom is prudence. I mean with time, money,
resources.

I'd pick it up from here next time..till then, THINK ooooo...before you enter and begin to say "It's better for man to be alone". Hereby, avoiding stories that touch! Run for your life!!!!

FRUIT OF AFRICA: The Article By "Uncle K" That Made Me Think

So last month I stumbled on a blog and I didn't leave the blog until I read all the articles in it (Yes I can be that awesome).

I love the way he arranged his thoughts and all the articles he wrote resonates with me. But of all the articles I read, this one below made more magic in my soul. It is deep and worth your time.

FRUIT OF AFRICA

Can I take a minute to visit the minds of the kings and queens that,
Mr Luther King dreamed for?
A few minutes to speak to the future that Mrs Rosa Parks held that front seat for?
The same folk the Mr Malcolm X hoped he could use his fists to fight free for?
They fought for us,
And thought for us to be respected as a body of one people,
We needed composure in the free fall, to unite as a body of equals.
Because we were cast as slaves, struck with the same stone.
We were all niggers by the same right,
So why do we behave like we ain't from the same home?
Ready to kill a young man because his post doesn't go to the same code,
Performing our own apartheid because our skins don't resemble the same tones.

We are ebony kings and queens, born from great thrones.

But we forget that we are royals,
That we have the riches of a kingdom in our veins.
Crafted from the soils of a great land, we have the ancestry of sovereigns in our DNA.
We are the sons and daughters of empires, but our minds have been tainted.
Where Parks, King and X fought for fruition in the black community,
We've achieved mass division because we lack unity.
We don't hear the lash and cracks of the whip, we didn't see that era in history,
But we are still divided and conquered in our mindsets,
Because we still have silly debates such as dark chicks versus light chicks.
Like we are still blinded by the eyes of colonialism,
And I'm a culprit but we still fuck around with these negative colloquialisms...
Are you listening... my niggers / niggas?
Don't get it twisted, I ain't saying follow my virtues,
but before we can overcome collective grief, we need to overcome individual hurdles.

We are the fruit of Africa.
Produce of the Horn.
Children of the tribes, stars plotted across the vast dark skies.
We don't realise how much talent we harbour,

The magnificent gifts and traits from our forefathers.

#RohanSpeaks: The Importance Of Being Present

The longer your task list, the more tempting it is to do two things at once. What happens after that is predictable – dilution of focus, result of two tasks completed with 60% quality, and frustration.
The way it actually works is that the longer your task list, the more important it is to be fully present in what you are doing now. Attempting to do two things simultaneously is not the solution. Focusing on what you are doing now is.
So, take the time to really think about what you want to get done. Once you commit to it, there’s no escaping being present. The more you have to get done and the more packed your schedule is, the more important it becomes to be present.
“The essence of Zen is doing one thing at a time.”

Knowing Guilt Is Okay Vs Feeling Guilt Is Not

GUILT is a factor of a CONSCIENCEGOOD people have a conscience, BAD people don't… If they do, it must be a skinny one.

BAD people don't usually feel guilty because they are probably busy being bad.

GOOD people feel guilty because: they are GOOD and their CONSCIENCE is like a sensor that tells them when they have deviated from the GOOD track.
Even if they did something wrong like…. Kill their pastor let someone down or they screwed up.... I still think it is a good sign if you ask me, because they have a CONSCIENCE

What is not making sense in my opinion is - staying GUILTY. Staying guilty without doing anything about it is like tasting the soup you were cooking only to discover that there is no sufficient salt in it. And still didn’t do anything about the soup (like add more salt or something).

The guilt then is pointless....and a waste of emotions.

If you feel guilty about something, try to MAKE THINGS RIGHT....or just
feel something else!!!
